Realms of Pixel Tech & Magic Beginner’s Guide & FAQ

How to Redeem Codes

After you’ve logged into Realms of Pixel, completed the tutorial, and familiarized yourself with the game, don’t forget to claim your bonus currency and summons by using your codes. To do this, simply click on your avatar located at the top left corner, then look for the “Redeem Code” option at the bottom right.

Regular Recruit & Faction Recruit – How Summoning Works

In the realm of Pixels, the primary methods for acquiring both new heroes and potential impostors are referred to as the regular Hero Enlistment and the Faction Enlistment. The Regular Enlistment, typically featuring three flags (Byddy, Special, Friend), has varying currency needs and chances for obtaining 5-star heroes. Each of these flags shares a common Mystic Recruit mercy system, which ensures you receive at least one 5-star hero once you reach VIP level 2.

Currently, among the three initial banners, the one you should prioritize is the “Special Recruit” banner. It’s generally advisable to avoid spending Gems on the Special Recruit, as you can often acquire tickets at more affordable rates from various stores and promotions.

Concerning the Faction Recruitment: It’s advisable to summon exclusively on the Advent/Ascension (Dark/Light) banner, as this is one of the limited areas in the game where you can acquire Advent/Ascension heroes. Additionally, you may utilize the Hero Swap feature to trade inferior 5-star heroes from the three minor factions for a possibility to receive superior ones.

Heroes – Best Heroes to Use

  • Lightbane: The only epic hero worth using. Has solid rear row DPS.
  • Sakura Blade: Solid front row DPS.
  • Blossomfly: Excellent rear row DPS and also applies Poison.
  • Mystic Claw: The best Legendary hero with extremely good rear row DPS.
  • Moonshadow: You get her for free, and her execute is extremely handy if you can reliably bring the enemy back line to low HP.

What to Buy in Shops – Where to Spend Currency

In the realm of Pixel, there’s an abundance of shops catering to various game modes and currencies. It’s essential to use your resources wisely. Here is a brief summary of each shop and what items you might want to purchase in each one.

In the vibrant world of Pixel, there are numerous stores for different game modes and types of currency. It’s crucial to make smart decisions with your resources. Here’s a quick rundown of each shop and the items you might consider purchasing in each one.

Daily Shop

Every day, I find myself visiting the in-game store that refreshes every 24 hours, offering essential resources. I always grab the free Star Grimoire and the Star Isle Visa for 25 Gems. If I have enough gems (80), I’ll also pick up an Ascend Crest. For those of us playing for free, spending 1,000 Gems on Faction Dreamstones might not be the best value.

Mystery Shop

As a savvy gamer, I always make sure to hit up the Mystery Shop for some sweet deals! Each day, you get five free refreshes, but remember never to use Gems for this. Instead, keep an eye out for some top-tier items like the Faction Dreamstone (which sets you back 600 Gems), Star Isle Visa (150 Gems), Experience Potion (1,000K Gold), Ascend Crests (300K Gold), Star Isle Pass (20K Gold), and Arena Challenge Coupon (also 20K Gold). To easily spot these items, just click on the “Marked Items” option in the middle. And remember, don’t get too carried away with other stuff – stick to the essentials!

Hero Shop

At the Hero Store, you’ll find a variety of robust characters available regularly. It’s advisable to focus on acquiring the top-tier heroes, namely the Vanquisher, Shadow Queen, and Sword Sage, in that order. Other characters are of lower priority, and it’s unlikely you’ll have enough resources to purchase them all. Avoid purchasing random character shards for minor factions.

Guild Shop

In simpler terms, the Guild Store gets restocked every week. It’s advisable to prioritize spending your Guild Coins (5-Star Hero Shard – 2000 coins and red 3-star equipment – 20,000 coins per piece). Keep in mind that all other hero shards are not essential, so it’s best to avoid using your currency on them.

Arena Shop

At the Arena Shop, prioritize obtaining Faction Dreamstones. Later in the game, don’t forget to acquire Awakening Solutions (either Potion, Elixir, or Vial) and Dormant Hourglasses. Hero shards are unnecessary and should not be purchased.

Clash Shop

The Clash Shop undergoes a refresh every seven days, showcasing some of the most powerful characters in the game. Prioritize acquiring Ember Maiden, then Shadow Queen, followed by Aura Knight and lastly Sword Sage. Anything else can be considered as secondary or low-priority.

Sky Shop

At the Sky Shop, you’ll find some outstanding heroes in the game, along with Liquid Gold Hourglasses, essential items for hero rollbacks. The top priority for hero shards is the Lunar Sprite and Abyss Queen, while everything else has a lower priority.

Shattered Shop

At the Broken Bazaar, you’ll find only a handful of excellent bargains, with standout items including Expedition Dice, Awakening Potions/Elixirs/Vials, and the Sleeping Hourglass. Early in the game, you can also purchase Ascend Crests, but their value isn’t particularly high.

Faction Shop

Ruins Shop

The shop known as “The Ruins” offers a single powerful hero shard for the character called “Aura Knight“. Additionally, it’s worth trying to acquire the items: “Aura Mask“, “Just Verdict“, “Stellar Flow Chart“, and “Lunar Tide Chart“. If you manage to purchase all these items, then both “Sakura Vixen” and “Immaculate Moonlight” can be beneficial additions, based on your team composition.

How Hero Upstars Work & Which Heroes to Fodder

In the game Realms of Pixel, the method for enhancing your main character is called “Star Up”. To perform this enhancement, you’ll require multiple copies of the character you wish to upgrade, along with lesser characters known as fodder. Typically, any Epic or Legendary 5-star heroes (with the exception of Mystic Claw and potentially Sakura Blade if you intend to utilize her) can be used as fodder for this process.

Additionally, remember that it’s generally safe to level up heroes from 2-star to 6-star, 9-star, and even 10-star, since you can either use them as material or reset them using an hourglass (requires a 10-star hero). However, refrain from leveling up heroes beyond 10-star unless you intend to utilize them extensively. The next opportunity to reset them comes at the 13-star mark, and you won’t be able to use them as material then.

When to Use Quick Fight

In the world of Pixel Realms, a swift battle option dubbed as Instant Resource Boost is available. This feature gives you an immediate influx of resources equivalent to two hours’ worth. Initially, you get one such battle at no cost, and additional ones can be purchased for 50 gems apiece. It’s essential to amass as many of these battles as possible, particularly during the early stages of gameplay. This will significantly help in advancing your account level and facilitating progress through more Adventure Stages.

How Bounty Tasks Work

Bounty Missions provide an opportunity for you to send your characters out on assignments, accruing additional resources automatically. Typically, it is most beneficial to dispatch heroes on Purple and Orange tasks. As you progress through the game, you will receive numerous refreshes, so don’t hesitate to use them if no Purple-level or higher tasks are available.

Bonuses – Free Resources & Currency

In the world of Realms of Pixel, there are numerous benefits to collect, so remember to check that menu frequently. However, be cautious with the “Moment of Justice” offer, as it’s the only section where you might slip up – this offer is exclusively for new players. Instead of purchasing Pyro Knight, focus on accumulating all the upgrade resources and summon currency you can. The 5-Star Hero Shard is another wise choice.

Equipment – How to Get It and Upgrade It

In the game Realms of Pixel, the primary method of acquiring your necessary gear comes from Offline Rewards. Avoid purchasing any equipment from shops, particularly using gems. Instead, equip the best gear you’ve gathered, then combine and upgrade the remaining items repeatedly. The true advantage of equipment bonuses will only become apparent once you have a complete set of Orange or Red items (the flat stats aren’t crucial).

Guilds & Why You Should Join One ASAP

In the world of Realms of Pixel, guilds play a significant role since they offer benefits with minimal investment from your side as a member. You’ll receive daily rewards and currency that can be used in the Guild Shop to acquire Red-tier equipment. However, remember to stay active and contribute on a daily basis.

Wishing Pool – How it Works & Where to Get Wishes

Here are three magical Pools, each requiring distinct forms of currency for your wishes. These pools offer extraordinary prizes. Notably, it’s crucial to wait for the Daily Refresh and exhaust the Complimentary Daily Refresh (located at the bottom left) until you obtain either a 5✦ Hero Shard (Star Pool) or a meta 5★ hero (Moon Pool). Once you’ve secured one of these, accumulate all your wishes and make them.

The Meteor Well remains constant, making it an ideal spot to deposit your wishes whenever possible. Moreover, using the Star Pool with the ‘Wish multiplied by 10’ option tends to be more cost-effective over time compared to ‘Wish x1’. So, refrain from utilizing Wish x1 in any situation.

That wraps up our introductory tutorial for Realms of Pixel. The information provided should assist you in rapidly advancing from a beginner to an expert with minimal investment of resources.
