UFL Delayed on Consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox), Devs Have New Release Date

As a long-time FIFA enthusiast who has been eagerly awaiting the arrival of UFL, I must admit that the constant delays have been a bit disheartening. However, I understand the importance of quality over speed, and if it means a more polished game at the end, then I’m willing to wait.

As a fellow gaming enthusiast, I’ve got some news about UFL – it’s like FIFA but without the cost. Exciting, right? The developers are planning to launch it on PlayStation and Xbox consoles soon. But here’s the catch, they want to ensure the game is as flawless as possible, so they’ve decided to delay its release, which was originally scheduled for a few days from now. Now, you might be wondering when we can finally get our hands on it? Well, it’s still this year, but it seems like we’ll have to wait just a bit longer.

UFL with new release date

Developers at Strikerz Inc. have recently disclosed that the release of UFL has been pushed back again. However, they’re not far off! As stated on their official website, the creators are aiming for a launch on December 5, 2024. For those who have preordered, there will be early access starting November 28.

UFL – All confirmed Platforms

At this point, it’s certain that the game will debut first on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. You’ll also find it on PC. Yet, we don’t know when exactly the release date is set. As for the consoles of the previous generation, the situation appears to be unclear, as there are no immediate plans to launch the game on them.

The creation of UFL seems to have been quite a complex endeavor. Originally scheduled for release in 2022, it has since been postponed and is now expected towards the end of this year, with over half of 2024 already passed. Interestingly, the target platforms have shifted from what was initially announced. The first gameplay trailer hinted that the free alternative to FIFA would be accessible on PS4, Xbox One, and modern consoles. However, in the latest video, there’s no mention of previous consoles, nor is it available for PC yet. There’s a possibility that ports might be developed at a later stage.
