The post-launch roadmap Ubisoft has revealed is nothing short of astounding, promising new story content, cosmetic packs, and more.
The global debut of Star Wars Outlaws is just around the corner, and Ubisoft has unveiled the post-release plan for this action-adventure game. This plan outlines all the exciting updates that both Jedi, Rebels, and rogue Outlaws can look forward to in the upcoming months, which includes additional story content, cosmetic items, and much more.
Ubisoft clarified how players can secure access to all upcoming post-launch material for Star Wars Outlaws, including the Jabba’s Gambit special mission that will debut at launch. The initial batch of additional content is anticipated to drop this Fall, with a specific release date to be shared shortly.
As a dedicated gamer, I can’t contain my excitement for Ubisoft’s upcoming galactic action-adventure, Star Wars Outlaws. Despite the heated discussions about its launch and pricing, it’s full steam ahead for an August 2024 release. The publisher has shared a developer update, mapping out the game’s post-launch plan, promising fresh content to keep us engaged in the coming months.
From the game’s launch day, players will have the opportunity to obtain the Kessel Runner character pack. This package comes with fresh appearances for characters Kay Vess and Nix, as well as an exclusive mission called Jabba’s Gambit that can be played alongside the main game. In the fall of 2024, following the launch, the initial content update will be released, although the specific date is yet to be announced. This update includes two additional cosmetic packs: Cartel Ronin and Hunter’s Legacy. These packs provide extra customization options for characters Kay, Nix, her speeder, and her spaceship, Trailblazer.
Acquiring the two cosmetic packages unlocks the first story DLC, Wild Card. In this expansion, Kay embarks on a covert operation to join a high-stakes Sabacc tournament, as detailed in the developer blog. During her mission, she encounters a well-known Star Wars figure, Lando Calrissian. She soon learns that not everything is as it seems, for there’s another game being played beneath the surface.
2025 finds me, a seasoned gamer, embarking on another thrilling adventure: the second narrative expansion, “A Pirate’s Fortune,” is scheduled for release next spring. Throughout my interstellar journey, I, along with my trusted vessel, the Trailblazer, have built quite the reputation.
