Ubisoft Delays Two Upcoming Games

As a dedicated gamer with years of experience under my belt, I’ve seen my fair share of delays in the gaming industry. However, Ubisoft‘s decision to delay Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence comes as a bit of a disappointment. I was looking forward to getting my hands on these new titles, especially after hearing about their progress during various development updates.

Ubisoft has announced that the launches of Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence, two of its upcoming games, have been postponed. According to Ubisoft’s latest financial report, these mobile titles will not be available during their fiscal year 2025. Consequently, they are now predicted to come out after March 31, 2025.

The development teams are making good use of the extra development time to enhance the games and meet the set standards. Ubisoft aims to improve each title’s essential aspects, focusing on optimization within a competitive and vast marketplace.

As a long-time fan of Ubisoft’s tactical shooter series, I was thrilled to learn about the upcoming releases of Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence. Rainbow Six Mobile, with its portable convenience, promises an immersive experience that I can take on the go. Its name alone speaks volumes about what to expect – a mobile adaptation of the beloved Rainbow Six Siege.

In March this year, Ubisoft initiated a soft launch for Rainbow Six Mobile in certain markets. However, they subsequently announced that they would halt the game’s global release to focus on enhancing key aspects of it. Similarly, The Division Resurgence has previously been accessible to early testers via regional technical tests.

Ubisoft has yet to specify new launch dates or timeframes for Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence. Instead, their upcoming major project is Star Wars Outlaws, set to debut on August 30.

In addition to unveiling their earnings figures, Ubisoft shared that XDefiant has enjoyed a promising debut with over 10 million players within its initial two weeks. The company further mentioned that the game’s player base is expanding consistently.
