The horror-thriller “Oddities” by Tyler Savage has recently announced that Adrienne Barbeau, known for her role in “Escape from New York”, Xander Berkeley who starred in “Terminator 2: Judgement Day”, Lovie Simone from “Forever”, and Lilimar of “Inside Out 2” have joined the cast.
The 2023 short film titled “Oddities,” originally created by Savage, ventures into a unique blend of thriller genres. It tells the story of two friends, Simone and Lilimar, who share a self-destructive nature and unwittingly take a life. In search of sanctuary, they stumble upon an antique shop by the roadside. At first, an older woman named Barbeau appears to be helpful, but as events unfold, the situation takes a chilling turn.
Savage commented that ‘Oddities’ is a playful tribute to the elements of film that initially captivated him. He expressed his appreciation for being able to enlarge this universe and is excited about the collaboration between the team and cast. A big thank you goes out to Vicky Boone, Liz Kelley, and the rest of the producers for making it all possible. Filming has recently concluded in Kentucky, and the producers are currently engaged in talks about potential sales for a release date in 2026. Simone, who appeared in Netflix’s “Forever” and starred in “Greenleaf,” is joined by Barbeau, who has previously been seen in “The Fog,” “Creepshow,” and “Argo.” Berkeley, well-known for “The Walking Dead” and “Apollo 13,” rounds out the cast, with Lilimar contributing her voice to both “Inside Out 2” and “Batwheels.
