A streamer who walked a long distance to attend TwitchCon Europe 2026 says he was turned away at the door after his ticket was unexpectedly refunded right before the event began.
KumaMonster is a Twitch streamer who’s famous for walking incredibly long distances and broadcasting it live. Instead of traveling to events by plane or train, he connects with his audience by undertaking massive walking challenges, like journeys he’s completed across Europe and Japan.
Kuma recently completed a 340-mile (550km) walk to TwitchCon Europe in Rotterdam, a journey he called “Road to TwitchCon.” Unfortunately, when he arrived, he wasn’t allowed in because his ticket had been cancelled for an unknown reason.
I’m reaching out to Twitch and Twitch Support regarding a frustrating experience. I was unexpectedly denied entry to TwitchCon Europe after traveling over 550 km and spending more than $10,000 to attend for the third time. My ticket was revoked the day before the event without any explanation, despite Twitch promoting my stream beforehand.

Streamer claims TwitchCon ticket was refunded before event
Kuma shared in a video recorded at TwitchCon Europe 2026 that he received an email the Thursday before the event informing him his ticket money had been returned.
In a video clip, he explained that he received an email stating he didn’t have a ticket, so he reached out to Twitch support for help.
Kuma says he was caught in a loop with Twitch support. They directed him to the event helpdesk, but the helpdesk sent him back to support. He also stated that support hadn’t replied to him even after he posted a video about the issue.
He posted on X, stating he was denied entry to TwitchCon without any explanation. He explained that after traveling to TwitchCon Europe live three times, spending over $10,000 and walking 550 kilometers, his ticket was unexpectedly revoked the day before the event, and he received no reason why.
Kuma said that despite mentioning “Road to TwitchCon” in his stream title, no one from Twitch connected with him during the in-person event.
He expressed his disappointment with Twitch, saying he was really let down. He simply wants someone to explain what’s going on.
As of now, Twitch hasn’t officially responded to the allegations made by KumaMonster. TopMob has contacted Twitch for a statement.
