Streamer ‘Mhyochi’ was live-streaming her journey through St. Petersburg, Russia, when a local man unexpectedly approached and forcibly grabbed her, all caught on camera.
Hyojeong ‘Mhyochi’ Park, a well-known streamer on Twitch, has more than 41,000 enthusiastic followers who regularly join her as she explores different nations, such as Thailand, South Korea, and most recently, Russia.
On May 27th, the influencer found herself recounting her adventures in Saint Petersburg, Russia’s second-biggest metropolis. It so happened that while she was doing this, a person she had encountered previously during her explorations approached her.

Twitch streamer panics after man suddenly grabs her
In a surprising turn of events, the man wrapped an arm around her, leading Mhyochi to respond playfully, “Hey there!” As she fiddled with her camera during the tense moment, viewers caught a glimpse of the man’s hand under her arm, firmly gripping her left side.
Sir,” Mhyochi said, trying to leave, “I need to meet up with my friends, but it seems like I’m being touched by you.
“Hi, how are you? I have to go fast because my friend is waiting.”
The man countered, “Why must you hurry?” He added, “Remember, I’m also a friend of yours… Your closest friend, in fact. Don’t you recall why? It’s because I am.
After saying she would leave, the streamer concluded the unusual encounter, commenting to her audience about its wildness as she swiftly departed.
She expressed her desire to depart, saying, ‘It’s time for us to move on.’ She made it clear that what happened wasn’t acceptable and she didn’t appreciate it. In fact, she dislikes situations where people invade her personal space.
Viewers expressed their worry, suggesting she verify if her possessions were safe after a man, raising suspicions. However, Mhyochi assured them that all her items were securely in their place.
As a gamer, I can’t help but notice that all too often, real-life streams turn awkward or even unsafe for women due to inappropriate behavior from male viewers. This isn’t a new issue for me or many others in the gaming community.
In the month of March 2025, well-known broadcasters Valkyrae, Emiru, and Cinna found themselves pursued and menaced by an individual who expressed his intent to harm them. This incident occurred after Emiru refused to provide her phone number to this person in a situation that quickly gained attention online.
