Twitch streamer appears to expose viewbot app & restarts stream like nothing happened

During a live stream on Twitch, QueenGloriaRP seemed to unintentionally reveal the use of a viewbot, which left many viewers stunned. After this unexpected event, she casually concluded the stream without further explanation.

Artificial inflation of viewer counts on streaming platforms like Twitch and Kick has become a contentious issue, with allegations that some streamers are manipulating their statistics unfairly.

Since engaging viewers and regular chats significantly assist creators in achieving Partner status and earning income from their streams, it can be tempting for some to bend or break the rules.

On March 18th, while streaming live on both Kick and Twitch, QueenGloriaRP seemed to accidentally open an incorrect tab, inadvertently exposing what appeared to be a viewbot application on her screen.

The software offered features to amplify the number of spectators, adjust the duration of automated activity, and a section to compose messages that could be attributed to fictitious profiles.

Initially, it appeared as though QueenGloriaRP hadn’t noticed that the tab was open. She continued to keep it active for several moments before eventually noticing her error.

As a dedicated fan, I found myself cringing when Streamer QueenGloriaRP accidentally navigated to a ViewBot tab during her live stream. 🚨

Upon noticing the mishap, she swiftly concluded the broadcast and returned moments later, explaining that she needed to update OBS. 🤐

She replied, “Alright, I’ll be with you again shortly.” Before vanishing briefly, she explained, “My device asked me to perform a quick reset on my OBS, which required me to pause streaming for a bit.

The incident’s video was shared on X by users ‘RandomGamerTRGD’ and ‘WhizKick,’ who disclosed additional details regarding QueenGloriaRP’s live streams.

They pointed out that the graphs displayed dramatic surges (peaks), which was unusual. There were a total of 33 distinct contributors in this case, suggesting non-organic growth. Upon further investigation, it was confirmed that while the account is verified on Kick, these automated bots appear to be driving the majority of the activity.

What’s her trick this time? (Curious)

The narrative remains the same, fresh as today. (Informal)

The charts exhibit erratic surges—↑↓. (Concise)

33 distinct contributors. This is not a natural occurrence. (Expressive)

Authenticated on her platform (Kick), but it seems like bots are doing the majority of the work 🤖💪. (Clearly states bot involvement)

As an enthusiast, I can’t help but voice my concern: Twitch and Kick, it’s high time you both open your eyes – this apparent fraud is as clear as day! Who ensures that these ‘verified’ streamers are kept in check? That’s the question WhizKick poses.

To this point, QueenGloriaRP’s account hasn’t been suspended on Kick or Twitch, and she hasn’t publicly commented about the matter on her social media platforms.

This event follows assertions by the streaming personality Kick Star (Trainwreck) suggesting the extent of the viewbotting issue. He claims that several prominent streamers, focused on amassing popularity, are reportedly spending around $20,000 weekly for services that generate fake views.
