In a recent disclosure, Amouranth stated that Twitch issued a warning to her following her decision to ban streamer Adin Ross during her most recent live stream.
On March 2nd, a group of three attempted a burglary at Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa’s residence, aiming to make off with her cryptocurrency in a very alarming event.
Following an unsettling incident where I was struck with a gun, I guided my companions towards another section of our home, where my spouse, Nick, was stationed, holding his own firearm in readiness.
In simpler terms, when an intruder broke into their home, Siragusa’s spouse discharged two gunshots, striking one of the trespassers who then fled before the police showed up to manage the incident.
A few days passed, Amouranth made a live appearance for the first time where she introduced her husband during an interview with popular streamer Kick star Adin Ross. This action led to a caution from the Twitch platform, which is owned by Amazon.
Amouranth mocks Twitch’s “generous warning” for Adin Ross stream
As a gamer, I found myself anticipating my stream with Adin Ross on March 11, only to receive a warning on my Twitch channel three days later, as per Siragusa’s update.
She disclosed that her Twitch channel had been issued a warning due to the presence of a previously banned streamer’s voice in one of her recent video recordings (VOD).
On Twitch, there are stringent regulations that prohibit suspended streamers from being visible on the platform, even during broadcasts of other creators.

In the year 2023, Ross faced a permanent ban from Twitch when he displayed chat from Kick on Twitch, which contained racially offensive remarks. On the other hand, leaders at Kick argue that Twitch banned Ross intentionally as a means to harm their live-streaming platform.
Adin has consistently worked towards having his Twitch ban lifted since then, feeling greatly frustrated that Hasan was allowed back on the platform so quickly following controversial remarks about killing U.S. Senator Rick Scott, despite Adin still facing an ongoing suspension.
Nonetheless, Amouranth has promised not to have banned creators on her Twitch stream again.
“I appreciate the generous warning and I won’t do that again,” she sarcastically said.
Despite Amouranth receiving only a warning, some other streamers have faced suspensions due to their actions of prohibiting certain users during their live streams.
In 2022, streaming chess professional Hikaru ‘GMHikaru’ Nakamura was given a three-day suspension for viewing Dr Disrespect’s stream during his own broadcast. However, he was permitted to return to the platform a day ahead of schedule.
