Turn-based tactical RPG Menace now available on PC via Early Access

I’m so excited! The team behind Battle Brothers, Hooded Horse and Overhype Studios, just released their new game, Menace, on PC! You can grab it in Early Access right now on Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, and even play it with PC Game Pass. It’s normally $39.99, but there’s a 25% discount if you buy it before February 19th!

Menace, first revealed in 2023, is a tactical RPG where you control a squad. It features operations made up of multiple missions that change each time you play. The developers plan to keep the game in Early Access on Steam for approximately a year.

MENACE, the new turn-based strategy game from Hooded Horse and Overhype Studios, is now available in early access on PC! Command a team of marines and other characters to bring law and order to a wild frontier. You can find it on Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store, and with PC Game Pass.

In the game TCRN Impetus, you’ll take charge of a diverse group of characters. You’ll lead soldiers, mechs, and vehicles through the Wayback system, completing missions for powerful and often ruthless groups who are all vying for control.

Stranded far from civilization, players have to gather and make do with whatever supplies they can find or purchase. They can build their teams with a huge selection of gear, weapons, and vehicles. As they journey between planets, careful planning is essential to succeed in complex missions. Players will need enough personnel and equipment to overcome threats like pirates, alien creatures, and the mysterious, dangerous creations known as the Menace.

This first version of the early access game features over 50 different mission types on multiple planets. The developers plan to add even more variety – including new environments, missions, and gear – throughout the early access period. They’ll also be expanding the story, creating endgame content, and incorporating feedback from players as they play.

The game will be translated into twelve different languages: German, French, Spanish, Polish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.

MENACE is now available on PC through Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store for $39.99, £34.99, €39.99, or ¥3,980. For a limited time, you can get it with a 25% discount until February 19, 2026.
