In a harrowing incident, a truck driver using TikTok shared his close call with death when he was part of a severe crash involving multiple vehicles within a Wyoming tunnel, resulting in the tragic loss of three lives.
On February 14, 2025, the Wyoming Highway Patrol reported a severe collision within a Green River tunnel involving no less than 26 vehicles. Tragically, this incident resulted in the loss of three lives.
The incident was widely shared on social platforms like TikTok, where a user posted a video depicting his personal account of exiting from his large truck after the accident.
User Tophauler has accumulated almost 30 million views collectively on two of his TikTok videos. One video offers a peek into the tunnel’s interior, while the other showcases him successfully escaping.
Trucker escapes deadly tunnel accident
In the initial video, he expressed his distress, saying, “This is quite unfortunate; I’ve been involved in an accident while passing through the tunnel. Later, I found out that a nearby truck was on fire.
Tophauler went on to shatter the windscreen of his pickup truck, enabling him to exit the vehicle and navigate his way out of the tunnel safely.
After safely navigating through the tunnel, I glanced back and saw plumes of smoke billowing behind me.
“Holy sh*t!” he exclaimed. “I almost died in there man. F**k. That was a wild ride.”
With the videos spreading rapidly online, enthusiasts rushed to comment sections to express their opinions on the surprising footage.
“The screaming is so horrific, I’m so sorry,” one user commented.
One individual remarked: “This perspective is among the most extraordinary ones I’ve encountered; it feels as if you’re watching a film with yourself as the lead actor. Incredible!
Upon viewing the dashboard camera video, it’s incredibly sad. I hope for the wellbeing of everyone who perished and those who survived,” said the third person.
