As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of all things delicious and bizarre, I must say that the Trolli Gummi Pop has left me utterly intrigued! Growing up with a diet mostly consisting of candy and frozen treats, I’ve never encountered anything quite like this wobbling wonder.
Trolli has launched a novel frozen treat, but consumers find it peculiar that it moves back and forth.
word on the street is that Trolli’s latest Gummi Pop creation has become an internet sensation since hitting shelves last November. This novelty treat presents a frozen gummy worm suspended on a stick, but what sets it apart is its unique wobbling and bending motion from one side to another.
Generally speaking, you won’t find frozen items moving around when shaken. But Trolli managed to create something extraordinary – a gummy pop that intrigued customers so much, they claimed they’d rush to the store to give it a try.
Following its launch, the well-known food enthusiast, ‘Snackolater’, shared his thoughts on Trolli’s latest creation, the Gummi Pop, via TikTok.
He exclaimed, “Looks strange, it’s frozen!” as he wiggled the icy popsicle back and forth. “Amazingly enough,” he continued, “this frozen treat is quite remarkable.
Concerning the taste, the food enthusiast commented that it was slightly tangy, reminiscent of a Sour Trolli gummy worm. “I adore it,” he added.
From his TikTok video, it’s clear that the Gummi Pop has a stationary primary flavor at its base and a secondary flavor that leans towards one side when held vertically.
Spectators of Snackolater’s TikTok videos were equally astonished, finding it hard to believe that Trolli popsicles could wiggle like gummy worms, just as Snackolater himself was taken aback.
“Nah, that looks insane,” wrote one. “Interesting,” added another.
TikToker ‘ems.eats’ also shared her opinion on the bewildering frozen gummy popsicle.
The surface feels like gelatin, similar to a chewy candy. This leaves me puzzled; as I bend the popsicle, it doesn’t snap,” the intrigued food lover mused.
“I feel like I’m actually eating a gummy worm in popsicle form,” she added.
Each box of Trolli’s Gummi Pops contains ten separate popsicles. The choices for flavors include cherry lemon and strawberry grape.
A popular trend on TikTok involves a unique take on yogurt called dried yogurt. To prepare it, you simply cover a bowl of yogurt with a paper towel and place something heavy on top to let the towel absorb the liquid. After refrigerating for 48 hours, the yogurt hardens into a clay-like consistency.
