At long last, GungHo Online Entertainment America has unveiled the specifics of the Collector’s Edition for Trails in the Sky: First Chapter, along with confirming that additional content in the form of a Season Pass with downloadable content will be made available for the game.
The news comes within hours, following Falcom’s release of a character trailer centered around Estelle in the game. Starting from June 17th, pre-orders for both the Collector’s Edition and SteelBook edition will be accessible at Limited Run Games in North America and Clear River Games in Europe. Additionally, GungHo has announced a Digital Deluxe Edition with a Season Pass, priced at $24.99. As of now, there are no details regarding the DLC content.
The first chapter of Trails in the Sky goes global on September 19, available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Information about the Trailblazer’s Chronicles 1st Chapter, available in the Collector’s Edition, SteelBook Edition, and Digital Deluxe Edition, can be found on the official GungHo website.
On the 19th of September, 2025, the Standard Edition of “Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter” will be released digitally and physically for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. Simultaneously, a digital version on Steam will also be available.
In anticipation of this remake, pre-orders for two Collector’s Editions are being made available from June 17th. These limited edition releases come with exclusive items.

1. The SteelBook Edition will hit the shelves on September 19, which is the game’s launch day.
2. The Bracer Edition, however, will be shipped between November 15 and December 15. The contents of this edition, including the game and SteelBook, will arrive separately and by the game’s launch day.
3. Two weeks following the game’s release, the Launch Celebration Pack will become available to all users. This offer will last for a month, but those who buy the SteelBook Edition or Bracer Edition can enjoy it anytime.
4. North American gamers can pre-order the Collector’s Editions via Limited Run Games. European fans can do so through Clear River Games and other major retailers. More details about pre-orders will be shared later on.
5. Apart from the Collector’s Editions, there’ll also be a Digital Deluxe Edition available on September 19 for $79.99. This edition comes with the digital game version and a Season Pass, which can be bought separately for $24.99. The Season Pass offers access to all upcoming DLC, which will be sold individually post-launch.
