Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter gets new trailers revealing the English and Japanese voice cast

GungHo has unveiled the English voiceover trailer for the first chapter of Trails in the Sky, presenting the voice actors for the upcoming remake. Simultaneously, Nihon Falcom released a parallel version with Japanese voiceovers. Interestingly, this version also highlighted modifications to the original Japanese voice cast.

In the new English preview, it’s clear that several actors from the initial game are coming together again for this remake. However, the trailer doesn’t include any fresh dialogue spoken by these actors yet; instead, it functions as a showcase of the cast that GungHo has chosen to announce so far. This latest trailer follows on from the recent visual side-by-side comparison trailer for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter.

Contrarily, the Japanese version’s trailer showcased some surprising alterations in the voice cast for several characters. To illustrate, Estelle and Joshua Bright will be voiced by Tomoyo Takayanagi and Natsumi Fujiwara instead of Akemi Kanda and Mitsuki Saiga. Interestingly, both Kanda and Saiga are still active, but have been replaced in these roles. However, the veteran male actors, Takehito Koyasu and Tetsu Inada, will continue to voice Olivier Lenheim and Zin Vathek respectively.
