Comedian Tracy Morgan said food poisoning was to blame after he vomited at a New York Knicks basketball game Monday night and was taken out in a wheelchair.
“Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning,” he wrote on Instagram on Tuesday, with a selfie of himself in a hospital bed. “Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!”
During the third quarter of the game between the Knicks and the Miami Heat as Madison Square Garden, Morgan was seen vomiting on the floor while sitting courtside. The game was paused for 10 minutes as employees cleaned up the vomit.
Morgan poked fun at himself, writing “More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs 😅 #goknicks.”

I truly hope Tracy recovers quickly, as I eagerly anticipate his return to his usual spot courtside,” I expressed in a statement released last night.
Morgan will soon appear alongside Daniel Radcliffe in an untitled single-cam comedy pilot for NBC. The official logline reads: “A disgraced former football player (Morgan) is on a mission to rehabilitate his image.” The new show marks a “30 Rock” reunion for Morgan and executive producers Robert Carlock and Sam Means, who are attached to write and executive produce the pilot, and executive producer Tina Fey.
