Towerborne Is Heading To Xbox Game Preview And Game Pass For Consoles & PCs In April 2025

Developer Stoic unveiled their free-to-play (F2P) action RPG, Towerborne, in partnership with Xbox Game Studios as publisher, back in June 2023. After that, the game was launched through Steam Early Access on September 10th, 2024, and has been thriving since its release.

Since Xbox Game Studios are responsible for publishing the game, it’s only a matter of time before it becomes available on both Xbox consoles and Windows PC. Fortunately, the developers have shared some exciting news about Towerborne’s upcoming release on Xbox in their most recent developer update – they’ve announced that the game will be launching soon!

After Towerborne was launched on Steam Early Access, the free-to-play action RPG has received five significant game updates. These updates have addressed bugs, made game adjustments, improved performance, and added new content to the game. The developer has introduced new missions, language support for additional languages, cosmetic items, boss battles, weapons, and equipment. Meanwhile, they have refined the combat system, user interface, key bindings, and various gameplay elements to improve player experiences within the game.

On April 29th, 2025, Update 6, which primarily enhances Class Mastery, will roll out for Towerborne. Additionally, the developer has revealed that Towerborne will also make its debut on a new platform on the same date! Keep an eye out for its addition to your Xbox wishlist.
