Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake Actually Does Include Most Of THPS 4’s Original Activities

In the reboot of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4, developer Iron Galaxy has affirmed that a significant portion of the original content from Pro Skater 4 will be incorporated. Several distinctive activities from the fourth game will be available as additional content to enjoy after completing an initial series of 10 objectives.

Although the initial three Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games share a similar structure, the fourth game in the series introduced numerous unique and uncommon mission types. Since Iron Galaxy mentioned they want to standardize gameplay for the remake, fans speculated that these atypical missions might be excluded. However, the studio confirmed to Video Games Chronicle that most of them will be present as “Pro Goals” instead.

In contrast to VGC’s report that tennis minigames from Pro Skater 4 won’t be featured in the remake, a significant portion of the game’s original content will be covered by the new mode called Pro Goals. The developers mentioned that Pro Skater 4 was tricky due to the diverse structure of its missions; many didn’t align with the two-minute format that the remake is standardizing across all games. Although we’re still unsure about the extent of what’s in Pro Goals, this update should bring excitement to fans of Pro Skater 4.

The highly anticipated Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 & 4 remastered edition will be out on July 11th. This release combines all the skate parks from the original games with an additional three brand new ones. Eager gamers can get a sneak peek through a demo, now accessible to those who have preordered the game and also to Game Pass subscribers, as Activision has made it available recently.
