Tom Segura’s Mom Roasts His Netflix Comedy ‘Bad Thoughts’: ‘It’s an Insult to Humanity’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Netflix offers fans an extraordinarily wild Mother’s Day surprise: Tom Segura’s mother from Peru, Charo, brutally critiquing his latest sketch comedy series titled “Bad Thoughts.

‘+’ for approval, thumbs down for disapproval, and a stop button if something is too offensive. By the end of the film, she seems ready to disown him entirely.

Tommy, my friend, this isn’t humor we’re dealing with here. It’s downright vile. I can barely stomach it,” I exclaim, shuddering as another sketch ventures into unacceptably inappropriate realms. And things only seem to be getting worse.

Later on, I express my viewpoint, ‘One needn’t resort to vulgarity to be a competent comedian.’ I find such behavior to be deeply disrespectful towards the human race.

Beginning May 13th, Netflix unveils the six-episode comedy spectacle titled “Bad Thoughts.” This offbeat series, a blend of “Black Mirror” and David Cronenberg, with an added touch of hallucinogenic mushrooms, offers a bizarre and satirical take on reality. It includes elements such as prosthetic genitals, disturbing deepfakes, and the absurdity of conjoined twins. The show is visually stylish, grotesque, and apparently, not for those who appreciate maternal affection.

Segura shared that she was made to view a handful of episodes privately in a room equipped with concealed cameras in April. Upon seeing them, she expressed her concern, saying, ‘Return the money. It shouldn’t be broadcasted. I’ll lose all my friendships.’

In the advertisement, we witness her gradual transition from initial enthusiasm (“So far, I’m quite fond of it… It’s a job”) to shocked dismay (“I swear you’re not really doing this?”). One particular sketch pushes her to tears, prompting her to say, “Scrap it. Delete it. I can’t tell others that he is my son. You know what? He’s an orphan.

Segura isn’t offended, he’s delighted and in near tears from laughing so hard.

Even though she continuously asked for the program to be halted, Segura playfully ends the segment by saying: “Thank you, Mom. It’s great that you enjoy the show, as it will air on May 13.

The controversial title “Bad Thoughts” might raise eyebrows among kids and parents alike, but it’s bound to create quite a stir – either winning over viewers who appreciate its edginess, or causing them to change the channel like they would if their mother walked in.
