Tom Lee, who helped create the biggest Ethereum fund, has been actively buying more Ethereum recently – in fact, he bought more Ethereum this week than Strategy purchased in Bitcoin.
According to data from Arkham Intelligence, Tom Lee recently bought around $140.74 million in Ethereum, increasing BitMine’s overall Ethereum reserves.
Tom Lee has bought more Bitcoin than Michael Saylor, the head of Strategy, for the first time. This new purchase is worth more than the $75 million Saylor’s company invested in Bitcoin earlier this week.

BitMine nears 4% of Ethereum supply
BitMine continues to lead the Ethereum market with approximately $10.03 billion in Ethereum holdings, significantly boosted by a large purchase last week.
In addition to actively buying Ethereum, BitMine has significantly increased its Ethereum staking, recently committing $200 million worth of ETH. This strategy lets BitMine grow its Ethereum holdings through rewards and helps secure the Ethereum network.
BitMine has been buying Ethereum and now owns approximately 3.86% of all Ethereum in circulation.
The company now holds a larger percentage of Bitcoin than Strategy does. Strategy currently owns around 3.63% of all 21 million Bitcoins in existence.
BitMine is steadily buying up Ethereum, and many in the crypto world believe it could soon control around 4% of all ETH in circulation. They’d only need to invest another $359 million to reach that point.
