Tom Holland's Brother Was In Deadpool & Wolverine And Ryan Reynolds Had No Idea

As a hardcore Marvel fan and avid gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia as we bid farewell to the 20th Century Fox Marvel Universe. The Deadpool and Wolverine threequel has been an absolute rollercoaster ride, with shocking cameos that have left fans in awe.

1. Over the weekend, Marvel’s Deadpool and Wolverine films were a box-office hit. However, hidden appearances in the movie are still being unveiled. The third installment serves as a farewell to the 20th Century Fox Marvel Universe, which has spanned over two decades of storytelling. Although some cameos were kept secret from fans, even the stars themselves were unaware of a few.

On his Instagram stories on Monday, stunt coordinator and second-unit director George Cottle disclosed that Tom Holland’s sibling, Harry, was included in the film’s stunt crew.

“When Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds raised the bar so high, even the stunt team required an exceptional extra participant,” Cottle posted on Instagram. “Maybe it wasn’t the Holland everyone anticipated, but it was the Holland that we all necessary!”

Cottle likewise posted a picture of Holland dressed as Deadpool, expressing admiration for his performance. He wrote, “You nailed it, buddy,” and added the label “#Haroldpool” to the post. It was through this image that Reynolds learned about Holland’s participation.

“How do I discover this, you ask? By your telling me, it seems,” is how Ryan Reynolds, the Deadpool actor, expressed his surprise on his Instagram story, while sharing Cottle’s picture. Holland follows in the footsteps of Rob McElhenney and Blake Lively, who also make appearances in the movie—alongside other stars from the Fox universe.

In its initial release within the United States, Deadpool and Wolverine earned an impressive $211 million, placing it as the sixth largest opening at the box office to date.
