Tom Hanks, Adam Driver and Paul Rudd Among 2025 SeriousFun Children’s Network Gala Performers

On April 7, 2025, the charity event for the SeriousFun Children’s Network, titled “A Night of SeriousFun,” will happen at the Lincoln Center in New York City. This special event is being held to celebrate what would have been founder Paul Newman’s 100th birthday. The highlight of the 2025 gala will be a live, 90-minute performance that includes our SeriousFun campers and guest artists.

This year’s gala boasts a star-studded lineup with Adam Driver, Ali Stroker, Darren Criss, Gregory Porter, Kevin Kline, Matthew Broderick, NaTasha Yvette Williams, Paul Rudd, Peter Gallagher, and Tom Hanks as the featured talents.

The proceeds from event ticket sales will contribute to SeriousFun’s goal of offering children with serious illnesses the opportunity to enjoy their childhood again, free of charge, experience the pure joy of camp, find companionship, and, as Paul often put it, “let loose and have some fun.

Blake Maher, CEO of SeriousFun Children’s Network, expressed excitement about carrying on Paul’s daring plan to aid as many underprivileged children and families as we can in the upcoming year. By working together with our kind-hearted donors and selfless volunteers, we aim to surpass the two million mark in providing camp experiences worldwide, giving these individuals the strength to overcome their challenges and foster connections and resilience,” said Blake Maher.

SeriousFun member camps are autonomous, non-profit entities that rely on private donations to provide their services free of charge for children. These camps focus on inclusivity and accessibility, offering programs and facilities equipped to accommodate kids with a range of health issues such as cancer, HIV, blood disorders, heart diseases, neurological conditions, genetic disorders, and metabolic disorders, thanks to their medical expertise.

As a devoted cinema enthusiast, I feel incredibly privileged to contribute towards building a world-wide network that allows kids to simply be themselves, carrying forward my father’s noble tradition established through our SeriousFun camps. My dad was an innovator in every sense, yet nothing held more significance for him than giving back and dedicating his energy and influence to uplift children and their loved ones.

John Frascotti, chairman of the SeriousFun board, marveled at the happiness these camps bring to our campers. He stated that ‘A Night of SeriousFun’ will demonstrate the profound impact this joy can have, not only on children and their families, but also on anyone who becomes part of this inspiring mission.”

“John Frascotti, chairman of the SeriousFun board, was awestruck by the happiness these camps bring to our campers. He explained that ‘A Night of SeriousFun’ will reveal how truly transformative this joy can be, not just for children and their families, but also for everyone who joins in on this remarkable mission.

2025’s Galas will be supported by the Newman’s Own Foundation, Synchrony, ASML, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Gemline as sponsors.
