Fans are getting their first look at the next installment in the series, and many are calling it the most exciting one so far.
Gamebiz Japan reports that the upcoming mobile RPG, Tokyo Revengers UNLIMITED, was detailed during the Tokyo Revengers Halloween Special 2025 livestream. The stream showcased gameplay information, confirming players will be able to experience the main storyline from the original anime. Viewers also got a first look at character art for the game, including designs by Airi Tsuyuki, who worked on the anime’s character designs.
Tokyo Revengers Anime Character Designer Reveals New Art for ‘Unlimited’ Ahead of Season 4
Ken Wakui’s manga, Tokyo Revengers, first appeared in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2017 and quickly became a popular new shonen series. The story follows a man in his twenties who discovers his ex-girlfriend and her younger brother have been killed by a local gang, the Tokyo Manji Gang. He’s then attacked and seemingly killed himself, but instead of dying, he’s sent back in time over a decade. He gains the ability to travel between the present and the past, giving him a chance to prevent the tragic events from happening.
The manga series concluded in 2022 after running for 31 volumes. In 2020, it was adapted into an anime called Tokyo Revengers, which has aired three seasons totaling 50 episodes. The anime has been very popular with viewers, earning an 86% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Additionally, two live-action Tokyo Revengers films were released in 2020 and beyond, though they received mixed reviews.
Fans of Tokyo Revengers received exciting news in June with the release of a trailer for Season 4. The new season will cover the “War of the Three Titans” arc from the manga, which is the first part of the series’ final story arc. Season 4 will also introduce Mariya Ise as the voice of Senju Kawaragi, a powerful leader known as one of the Three Titans of Kanto, who commands a large and devoted army.
A release date for Season 4 of Tokyo Revengers hasn’t been officially announced, but new episodes are expected to arrive sometime in 2026.
