Tituss Burgess to Host New Food Network Competition ‘Last Bite Hotel’ (EXCLUSIVE)

As a devoted cinephile with a penchant for food-related shows, I am positively thrilled about the upcoming Food Network competition series “Last Bite Hotel.” With Tituss Burgess as the host, this show promises to be a delightful blend of his charisma and culinary creativity.

As a passionate film buff, I’m excited to share that this fall, I, too, will be donning the hosting hat for Food Network with my distinctive perspective. The show is titled “Last Bite Hotel,” and it’s a competition series where I’ll be the one dishing out judgement on the iconic dishes presented by chefs. Can’t wait to dig in!

In this television program, eight chefs receive invitations to a secluded resort for a contest centered around resourcefulness and creativity, as described by Food Network. The hotel manager, Burgess, assigns them the challenge of satisfying the culinary preferences of the resort’s high-profile guests. Each chef is allowed to bring only thirteen ingredients during their entire stay. Merely having cooking skills won’t guarantee success; chefs must employ creativity and take calculated risks to endure and continue cooking each day.

With each passing round in the game, valuable resources (ingredients) become scarcer as challenges are overcome. This heightens the fear for the competitors, as the likelihood of being exiled to the ominous Room 13 grows. As contestants are ousted from the competition, they pass on their remaining resources to their chosen counterparts, turning strategic planning and cooperation into essential survival skills.

The “Last Bite Hotel” is set to premiere on September 24, airing at 9 PM on Food Network. It will also be accessible for streaming on Max, the streaming platform sibling of the Warner Bros. Discovery cable channel.

Among the contestants during the six-episode run are Brittanny Anderson from Richmond, VA, Gabriella Baldwin hailing from Detroit, MI, Graham Campbell representing Edinburg, TX, Tobias Dorzon of Baltimore, MD, Byron Gomez based in Denver, CO, Kevin Lee from Oklahoma, OK, Nini Nguyen residing in New Orleans, LA, and Aarthi Sampath originally from New York, NY.

Prominent guest judges who are joining Burgess for critiques at the hotel are Esther Choi, Cat Cora, Jose Garces, Alex Guarnaschelli, Judy Joo, Poppy O’Toole, Marcus Samuelsson, Michael Symon, and Andrew Zimmern. These esteemed individuals will be lending their expertise to assist Burgess in his evaluations.

Burgess has gained significant recognition for his performances in “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” “Central Park,” “Schmigadoon!,” “Set It Up,” “Dolemite Is My Name,” and the Aretha Franklin biopic, “Respect.” He is set to lend his voice to a character in the forthcoming animated movie titled “Spellbound.”

I proudly affirm that at ‘Last Bite Hotel’, we elevate culinary creativity to unprecedented heights. Every resource is thoughtfully selected before our talented chefs even enter the kitchen, ensuring a unique and exciting dining experience. The suspense of the competition is amplified by the enigmatic charm of the exceptionally skilled Tituss Burgess, who masterfully portrays the hotel manager with a delightful touch of macabre whimsy.

“The ‘Last Bite Hotel’ is a creation from Butternut Media, a production house established by ex-president of Food Network, Courtney White.”
