How to defeat Dantos the Forgebinder in V Rising?

In the game V Rising, Dantos the Forgebinder is known as one of the toughest bosses to conquer. It’s crucial to exercise caution during this battle. Impulsive charging isn’t beneficial here. Instead, he prefers a face-to-face fight. But engaging him in close combat might not be favorable for you, so it would be wise to choose spells and maintain a safe distance. Avoiding attacks should be your primary focus rather than constantly attacking him.

When he stands in the middle of the arena, he emits a shock wave, which causes an “earthquake“. To avoid it, you must hide behind cauldrons. Change sides of your cover, to avoid bounced waves.
However, if cauldrons are burning, you can’t stand close to them. In other case you will receive substantial damage. If you see that one of them is activated near you, you should dash away from this place as quickly as possible.
When Dantos’ HP is low, his “earthquake ability” evolves and he can attack in all directions at the same time. However, you can still avoid it. Look at the arrows coming from his position. While orange waves turn behind the cover, blue ones do not do that. So, try to position yourself behind cauldrons that are on the path of blue “earthquakes”.

Choose a weapon (ideally one that boosts your speed and magical capabilities), then begin casting spells repetitively. This tactic lets you avoid physical attacks by targeting from afar. To dodge the enemy’s attacks, keep moving around the battlefield. However, when the boss is in the center causing shockwaves, it’s best to employ skills that let you attack effortlessly from behind obstacles such as cauldrons, like those of a Death Knight.

Absolutely, upon your victory, you’ll be granted some impressive loot: Crystal Lance, Arctic Storm, Frost Barrier, and Ember Glass. But what makes this intriguing is the Fusion Forge. This tool enables you to craft enhanced editions of Ancestral Weapons or Jewels. In essence, it unlocks the potential for some formidable artifacts.
