Mister Smith Entertainment has secured its initial global agreements for the film “Tinsel Town,” featuring Kiefer Sutherland and Rebel Wilson, and unveiled a sneak peek picture.
Initially, we see Bradley Mack (played by Sutherland) together with his daughter Emma (Matilda Firth). They are joined by Jill (portrayed by Wilson) and her daughter Cara (Theodora Williams), as they all participate in a festive Christmas event at their local school.
Deals have been finalized with DeaPlaneta (Spain), Kinoswiat (Poland), Front Row Filmed Entertainment (Middle East), Active Cinema Group (Ukraine), Acme (Baltics), Blitz Film (Ex-Yugoslavia), Odeon/Femeway/The Film Group (Greece), United King (Israel) and Empire Entertainment (South Africa).

“Tinsel Town” will be shown on pay-TV service Sky in the U.K. this Christmas.
The movie revolves around Bradley Mack, an unsuccessful action star from Hollywood, who unexpectedly lands in a quaint snow-covered village for the peculiar performance of “Cinderella.” Herein, he meets a group of peculiar locals, who eventually grow dear to him, among them being the strict choreographer Jill, played by Wilson.
Katherine Ryan (“The Duchess”) takes on the character of Mack’s persistent agent, while Meera Syal (“The Wheel of Time”) steps into the role of the show’s director. The part of the townsfolk is assumed by Derek Jacobi, Mawaan Rizwan, Maria Friedman, Jason Manford, Asim Chaudhry, Danny Dyer, Ray Fearon, Alice Eve, Lucien Laviscount, and James Lance respectively.
Prominent actress Savannah Lee Smith (“Cruel Intentions”), making her screen debut, will join an esteemed cast that includes Williams, Michael Firth known for his role in “Wolf Man”, and Eden Hamilton from “The Railway Children Return”.
The screenplay was written by Frazer Flintham, Adam Brown, and Piers Ashworth, with extra content contributed by Jake Brunger. The movie is helmed by Chris Foggin, who previously directed “Bank of Dave,” and it’s produced by Matt Williams and Pascal Degove at FAE. Additionally, Laura Grange, Piers Tempest, Martin Owen, and Julia Stuart serve as executive producers on the project.
