As someone who’s been longing to revisit the thrilling world of Time Crisis since the days of my old CRT TV and Sinden light gun, the announcement of GAIME is nothing short of a revelation! The idea of being able to play Time Crisis on my modern LCD TV without any adjustments or hassles is simply mind-blowing.

As a diehard fan of Time Crisis, the arcade shoot-’em-up classic, I’ve long felt the frustration of not being able to enjoy it at home unless I had an old CRT TV or a Sinden light gun. But now, my heart skips a beat with excitement! Dashine Electronics has announced their innovative device, GAIME, equipped with an “artificial intelligence” light gun. They claim that this game-changer can work seamlessly on modern LCD TVs and even comes preloaded with Time Crisis! Can’t wait to get my hands on it!

The base model of the GAIME will cost you $90, while the premium version with a pedal controller goes up to $120. However, the release date for this exciting product remains undisclosed at this time. This week, Dashine Electronics will unveil the GAIME at the Tokyo Game Show, and on their official website, they highlight that it employs cutting-edge AI technology to ensure a smooth, effortless setup process.

This AI-driven device, called the Smart Shooter, adjusts itself automatically to fit your screen for exceptional precision and user-friendly operation. It functions effectively from various positions and distances, accommodating various common screen sizes, and can be angled to fire. Its design caters specifically to the needs of leisure gamers.

If you’re a fan of rail-shooter games and looking for an affordable option to play titles like Time Crisis, consider trying them out on GAIME (if they get ported). Alternatively, you might opt for Arcade 1Up’s Time Crisis arcade cabinet at around $750, or the Sinden light gun, which is the tech source behind Arcade 1Up’s cabinet.

This item shares a comparable cost with the GAIME and mainly functions on PC systems. However, it supports the older consoles PS1 and PS2 through a physical modification.
