2-year-old Preston Ordone became a sensation on TikTok, popularly known as the “adorable ‘okay baby’,” captivating people with his endearing way of saying the word.

A popular video, watched by almost 45 million people, captures a youngster leaping over mud puddles on their own land. The comments section is filled with countless expressions of affection towards the child.

Preston Ordone died, parents injured

As reported by E! Online, the Louisiana State Police stated that Katelynn, Jaelan, and Preston were riding in a vehicle involved in an accident. All three were transported to the hospital, unfortunately, Preston succumbed to his wounds.

As a devoted admirer, I’m sharing an update based on a video posted by Katelynn herself. In this video, it was disclosed that her loved ones were the ones who shared the news. Moreover, they made it clear that their little 7-year-old angel, Paisley, was thankfully not in the vehicle involved in the situation.

According to Melanie Matranga, she was at school when the incident occurred and Katelynn wasn’t in the vehicle involved. Tragically, Katelynn suffered multiple broken bones and a severe concussion. Today, however, she managed to take her first steps since the accident. Unfortunately, Jaelan required emergency surgery on one of his legs.

“He’s got rods and pins inside him now, and unfortunately, he’s been admitted to two separate hospitals. After being taken out of the car, he was rushed to a hospital. The medical team did their utmost to help him.

In addition, Melanie’s spouse, Carson Matranga, recognized the significant influence Preston held over global audiences.

“He made people smile, laugh, I know you guys look forward to seeing him every day,” he said.

If there’s any dirt or mud in heaven, I imagine he’s joyfully playing and dancing in it right now. He’s likely dashing along the golden streets, wearing his refurbished overalls. I can only imagine how much we’ll miss him.

This comes after 6-year-old TikTok star Joules Smith died from cancer back in December 2024.
