A TikTok creator reacted with excitement when Dr Pepper featured her popular ‘Good and Nice’ tune in a major commercial during the College Football Playoffs.
Catchy jingles are a key reason why some adverts stick in our minds. For example, it’s hard to hear McDonald’s say “I’m lovin’ it” without immediately remembering the “ba da ba ba ba” melody that precedes it.
I stumbled upon this really fun thing on TikTok! This creator, Romeo – she goes by Romeosshow – made a new jingle for Dr Pepper back in December. It was super catchy, basically saying Dr Pepper is both good and nice, and it totally blew up on the app. Everyone was sharing it, it was wild!
So, a bunch of other people online started adding their own little touches to Romeo’s tune – things like basslines and remixes. It got pretty popular, and eventually, Dr Pepper actually noticed it! It was cool to see our community creations get their attention.

The video has become incredibly popular, racking up nearly 32 million views since it was first posted. Now, Dr Pepper has even featured it in a commercial!
This happened during the final game of the College Football Playoffs, featuring Miami and Indiana. The soda company featured Romeo’s original tune in a commercial, acknowledging its source.
TikToker Romeo thanks fans after Dr Pepper commercial
As you can imagine, tons of people on TikTok were recording themselves watching it, and they immediately started posting videos of their reactions once it was on TV. It was wild seeing everyone’s faces!
Romeo playfully pretended to give an acceptance speech, thanking “all of my supporters and all of the Dr Pepper fans” and everyone else who helped make the moment possible.
I’m generally a playful person, and I know this might seem a little goofy, but I’m truly grateful. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.
Lots of fans praised Romeo for having her music featured in the advertisement, but many also wondered if she received any payment for it.
One person asked how much the payment was, jokingly saying they were struggling. Another excitedly predicted the commercial would air during the Super Bowl. A third commenter urged the person to make sure they received their payment.
People were suggesting she team up with even more brands, and she playfully told us to ‘stay tuned’ – so it sounds like exciting things might be coming!
