The social media personality known as im.Krispy found out that she is colorblind following a viral post where she questioned the color of her chair.
On the 7th of June, 2025, Kristin shared a video detailing how she had offered her blue chair on Facebook Marketplace to someone in greater need.
After sharing another image with the buyer, the TikToker was told that the chair is actually grey, which left her puzzled.
After sending a second photo to the buyer, they informed the TikToker that the chair’s color was grey instead of what she thought, leaving her perplexed.

Having sent another image to the buyer, the TikToker discovered that the chair was grey, causing her to feel bewildered.
She questioned in the video, “Is this chair blue or gray?” As I’m planning to pass it on to someone and send photos, I said, ‘It’s a blue chair,’ but they replied, ‘No, that looks grey to me.’
Following Kristin’s display of the blue-appearing chair and couch, viewers swarmed the comment section to voice their opinions on the furniture pieces. In just three days, the video garnered over 133,000 comments, with a majority insisting that the chair is actually grey.
“It’s not only gray, it’s very freaking gray,” one user commented.
One individual remarked, ‘Hold on, did I just have my expectations manipulated about a chair that seemed slightly blue but is clearly gray?’
“Are you color blind by chance?” a third user asked.

In a subsequent video, Kristin mentioned that she intends to take an online color blindness test. As explained by the social media influencer, she conducted several tests during her live stream and plans to visit an eye specialist to validate any findings.
Upon completing the color vision test online, I discovered that there seems to be a significant weakness in my perception of red colors. This suggests that I might be experiencing a form of red-green color blindness known as Protan.
She also asked, “Are you all content?” followed by, “I’m unsure if someone with protanopia perceives my gray couch as blue like I do.
Based on the online test results, Kristin strongly believes she might be colorblind. However, we’ll need to hear from her doctor for a definitive diagnosis.
Due to the viral video series, the woman shares that Wayfair has agreed to assist her in obtaining the blue couch and chair she initially believed she had ordered from them originally.
