Thunderbolts Shatters MCU Records with Epic Post-Credits Scene!

In “Thunderbolts,” there are two bonus scenes after the credits, one of which breaks a significant record within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

As a gamer, I’d say “Thunderbolts* is a flick that significantly alters the landscape of the MCU. The climax is jam-packed with nonstop action, while the post-credits sequence is brimming with teases for what’s coming next.

In this movie, an ensemble of unconventional protagonists, such as Ghost, US Agent, Taskmaster, and Yelena Belova, form a group. They later confront a formidable villain known as ‘Bob.’

The tale concludes with a hilarious interlude during the credits, followed by an after-credits segment that’s breaking records. Below, we delve deeper, but be cautious as significant SPOILERS lie ahead…

Thunderbolts sets post-credits scene record

The movie “Thunderbolts” boasts a record-breaking post-credit scene that lasts for approximately 2 minutes and 55 seconds, making it the longest one ever seen in a Marvel film.

It’s quite amusing, actually. Despite having a running time of 2 hours and 6 minutes, this film stands out as one of the shorter entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, the final scene is quite packed, unfolding in what used to be known as the Avengers Tower, now called the Watchtower. Here, the New Avengers (once the Thunderbolts) are engaged in a heated debate over who has the right to use the ‘Avengers’ name. Red Guard suggests the amusing solution of ‘Avengerz.’

As they laugh, Yelena brings up the “massive space dilemma” that nobody has mentioned yet. This sparks a demand for a “risk assessment,” which unveils satellite imagery of an “extra-dimensional vessel entering the earth’s atmosphere.” Eventually, this disclosure uncovers the Fantastic Four’s spaceship.

This information serves to prepare you for the upcoming three Marvel films: “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” “Avengers: Doomsday,” and “Avengers: Secret Wars.” Given their number, it necessitates a more extensive explanation.

However, contrary to popular belief, it’s not the longest post-credits scene in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That title belongs to the extended finale of the Hawkeye TV series, boasting an impressive 4 minutes and 47 seconds, including a complete performance from ‘Rogers: The Musical.’
