After the initial screenings of Marvel Studio’s Thunderbolts, the number of post-credit sequences for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film has been definitively decided.
The upcoming film titled Thunderbolts is set to be a defining moment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), marking the conclusion of Phase 5. This movie will assemble an extraordinary ensemble of antiheroes and outcasts for a joint operation. Serving partially as a sequel to various MCU productions, Thunderbolts aims to resolve numerous lingering plot threads scattered throughout the vast MCU tapestry.
As the initial reviews for Thunderbolts start appearing about two weeks before its premiere, excitement is growing for what appears to be another successful Marvel Cinematic Universe film. Furthermore, each new Marvel production brings along fresh post-credits scenes – a tradition that persists in this franchise’s latest big-screen offering.
How Many Post-Credits Scenes Does Thunderbolts* Have?
At the world premiere of Marvel Studio’s “Thunderbolts” at Cineworld Leicester Square in London, UK, initial social media feedback disclosed the number of post-credit scenes featured in the film.
@BeanzGotGamez advised fans not to leave right away once the credits roll, as he found Thunderbolts to be “outstanding” or “very impressive.
Activating microphone: “Wow, ‘Thunderbolts’ was fantastic! It’s packed with potential for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s future development. The team dynamics were excellent, and there was a lot of heartfelt emotion involved. Yelena was my standout character. I highly recommend sticking around after the credits!”
*Note: “Taps mic” is a colloquial phrase that means to activate or begin speaking through a microphone. In this case, it’s used for dramatic effect. Thunderbolts is a fictional team in the Marvel Universe consisting of superheroes and villains.
As a follower, I found Big Gold Belt Media’s review particularly insightful as they described the film as “unpolished, laugh-out-loud funny, and strikingly human.” They hinted at the inclusion of not one but two special scenes after the main credits roll.
‘Thunderbolts’*’ is raw, humorous, yet deeply human. It takes a daring plunge into themes of trauma, healing, and redemption. This tale demonstrates that even those labeled as ‘defective losers’ or ‘disposable delinquents’ can transcend their pasts and surprise everyone by becoming unlikely heroes. It’s gritty, emotional, and a unique Marvel production unlike anything you’ve seen before – a captivating story that resonates with pain and heals where it matters most. Two scenes at the beginning and end of the credits are included as an added bonus.
*Thunderbolts may not be an actual title, but I’m using it to represent the film or series being discussed.
Instead of the usual pattern, the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Thunderbolts, deviates by featuring multiple scenes following its credits, unlike the previous three movies that only had a single post-credits scene each.
More recently, “Captain America: Brave New World” depicted Sam Wilson paying a visit to the Leader on the Raft, with the antagonist forewarning Captain America about a potential danger originating from another dimension.
Prior to this, viewers witnessed Kelsey Grammer’s Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Beast. This was following the awakening of Monica Rambeau in an alternate world alongside a variant of her mother, Maria Rambeau (Binary).
In the third installment of the trend, the movie titled “Deadpool & Wolverine” showcased a humorous and foul-mouthed monologue from Chris Evans as he reprised his role as the Human Torch, focusing on the character Cassandra Nova.
What to Expect From Thunderbolts* Post-Credits Scenes
As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share my thoughts on how the upcoming Marvel film, *Thunderbolts*, might be treading a path similar to Captain America 4 in exploring the concept of a greater Multiverse. This speculation arises from the fact that a significant number of the Thunderbolts cast have been confirmed for roles in Avengers: Doomsday, a film that’s expected to shatter the multiverse as we know it. It’s an exciting prospect that promises to keep fans on the edge of their seats as Phase 5 comes to a close!
Given that Thunderbolts marks the last film in Phase 5, it’s reasonable to anticipate that the post-credits scenes might offer a substantial build-up for the concluding phase of the Multiverse Saga. A tantalizing hint could be dropping something such as an Incursion or Robert Downey Jr.’s character, Victor Von Doom, menacing Earth.
In my humble opinion, as I pen this review, one pressing query that looms is how precisely the Thunderbolts and Sentry will intertwine with the narrative of Doomsday, given the ensemble cast of numerous prominent superheroes. Typically operating within the urban landscape, these characters are about to be plunged headfirst into uncharted waters as they cross paths with the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four. This promises to be an exciting blend of street-level drama and cosmic-scale action!
If Doomsday doesn’t materialize, Thunderbolts might opt for a scaled-down approach by focusing on one of their own characters, such as the potential main character Geraldine Viswanathan’s Mel, who has been rumored to be the MCU’s Songbird.
No matter what transpires, anticipation is growing following early feedback on social media, suggesting that the MCU might have another success story.
Thunderbolts* will debut in theaters on Friday, May 2.
