This new Steam game basically lets you hang out with Lofi Girl

A new game on Steam wants to make work and studying more enjoyable by letting players have a virtual anime girlfriend as a coworker.

Chill with You: Lo-Fi Story is a cozy productivity game where you literally sit at a desk with an anime girl while you work. I say game, but there’s no real gameplay – instead, you take a seat at a quiet desk next to Satone, a novelist who works peacefully in the background while you go about your own work-related tasks.

This game is really appealing and perfect for anyone who enjoys relaxing to lo-fi music. With so many simple clicker games and virtual companions available, Chill with You: Lo-Fi Story offers a way to get things done and maybe even find a friend in the process.

You can now study with your very own Lofi Girl

Similar to the popular Lofi Girl YouTube channel, this relaxing game features calming music to listen to while you play. But unlike the channel, this game lets you personalize the atmosphere – you can adjust background sounds and customize the study environment for the character, Satone.

Whether you work best in rainy weather, prefer a light breeze, or simply want to let Satone enjoy some fresh air, there are lots of ways to try and find what works for you.

This app also includes a timer and to-do list to help you balance work or study with breaks. When you take a break, Satone will respond and chat with you, letting you build a stronger connection with her as a virtual anime companion.

Hey, so the free demo is out on Steam right now! The cool thing is, anything you do in the demo – all the time you spend chilling and getting to know Satone – will carry over when the full game comes out. So you won’t have to start from scratch, which is awesome!

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know my game, Chill with You: Lo-Fi Story, is coming out on Steam November 17th! It’s got full English text, and I’m super excited that it also features Japanese voice acting. Can’t wait for you all to play!
