This Dude Made A Dope DIY Mario Kart Track With New Lego Kits

Most individuals typically assemble their Mario Kart Lego sets and pretend to make engine sounds as they move them across a table. However, Joseph Herscher took it up a notch. He devised an intricate Rube Goldberg machine where the mustached character competes in a race against pencils, strings, an ironing board, and even a rolling green shell.

On YouTube, Herscher showcased his outstanding Mario Kart project on his Joseph’s Machines channel. In the video – which you can watch here – the race is shown twice, offering different camera angles. During the race, Donkey Kong experiences a rather unfortunate fate, and the way Mario outpaces Baby Luigi at the end is quite thrilling.

A few months back, Lego introduced the Mario Kart line of kits, offering six distinct choices. Moreover, a 1,972-piece display model is scheduled to debut in May at a price point of $150. It’s not designed for racing but rather intended to make an impressive addition to your desk or shelf.

In approximately a week, we’ll get more details about the upcoming Mario Kart video game during the Switch 2 Nintendo Direct. So far, fans have been analyzing footage that seems to be of Mario Kart 9, identifying as many as 23 characters. It’s rumored that this new racing game will allow for 24 competitors at once, which is double the number in Mario Kart 8 (12 racers).
