This Battlefield Heroes-Inspired WW2 Shooter Looks Amazing, Launches Very Soon

Upcoming game “Heroes of Valor,” inspired by the closed-down Battlefield Heroes, is set to debut. This game will start its early access phase on Steam as of June 12th, according to the announcement made by the developers, Fancy Cat.

Heroes of Valor is characterized as a relaxed, arcade-type third-person shooter game that seeks to recapture the gameplay and atmosphere of Battlefield Heroes, while incorporating unique elements and fresh features. In this game, two factions engage in combat within a stylish World War II setting.

In this game, you’ll find three distinct categories to select from at the start, accompanied by four maps upon its release. You can expect a wide variety of firearms, in addition to both ground and airborne vehicles. The game offers an option for players to personalize their soldiers not only with conventional items but also with unique accessories such as a dinosaur head or corn cob pipe.

On Discord, the team announced they are creating a plan detailing all the thrilling new features and improvements following the release. In other words, there’s plenty to anticipate in the future.

Over the past few days, Fancy Cat has been busy making significant improvements and that trend continues in the coming week before release. The User Interface is getting a facelift, the sound design is being enhanced, hit and kill feedback is being fine-tuned, and numerous other areas are being polished – we aim for the game to have a sparkling new look when it launches.

To date, the upcoming game will only be available on PC platforms. Previously, Battlefield Heroes was discontinued back in 2015 because its popularity had significantly decreased over time. However, another installment of Battlefield is currently under development and expected to launch by March 31st, 2026.
