You don’t have to pay for a college education to watch Season 2 of Gen V, and you might not have to pay anything at all! There’s actually a way to watch it completely free.
Gen V is a live-action series connected to The Boys universe – if you enjoyed the animated spinoff, Diabolical, it’s worth watching! The show primarily follows students at Godolkin University, a college for superheroes owned by Vought, though you’ll also see some characters you recognize from The Boys, like Homelander and Starlight.
In Season 2, Marie, Emma, and Jordan are back at university, but now they have to navigate a new reality: pretending to be team players and working with Cate, Sam, and the intimidating new dean, Cipher.
Season 5 of The Boys is on its way next year, and you won’t want to miss Season 2 of Gen V beforehand. Here’s where you can watch it.
How to watch Gen V Season 2 for free
Amazon Prime includes a 30-day free trial, which also gives you access to Prime Video. If you start your free trial today, you can watch most of Season 2 of Gen V without paying anything.
The first three episodes became available all at once on September 17th, and a new episode will be released each week after that. With a 30-day trial, you’ll have enough time to watch the first seven episodes.
That leaves us with the Season 2 finale, Episode 8. You have two main choices to watch it: you could sign up for a new Amazon account with a different email to start another free trial, or you could pay for one month of Prime Video to see the final episode.
Can you stream Gen V anywhere else?

No, Gen V is exclusively available to stream via Prime Video.
Unlike some shows, you can easily find The Boys to stream or rent online through platforms like Apple TV. You can also purchase the first season on Blu-ray if you prefer a physical copy.
Prime Video has a basic plan with ads that costs $15 a month. If you subscribe next week, you could quickly watch the first three episodes, finish the series as new episodes come out, and then cancel your subscription.
