The Witcher: Sirens Of The Deep Anime Gets Release Date And Trailer

As a devoted fan of The Witcher saga who’s spent countless hours immersed in its richly woven tapestry of sword-fighting, sorcery, and soulful storytelling, I can hardly contain my excitement! The announcement of “The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep” is like a symphony of enchantment, striking all the right notes for me.

During Geeked Week’s latest presentation, it was revealed that Netflix plans to unveil “The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep,” an anime series based within the universe of The Witcher, on February 11, 2025. This announcement came from Doug Cockle, who will lend his voice to the character Geralt of Rivia in this film.

As a gamer immersed in the captivating world of The Witcher, I’m thrilled to share that an exciting new adventure is on the horizon: “The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep.” This gripping tale unfolds between episodes 5 and 6 of Season 1, drawing inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story, “A Little Sacrifice.

As a devoted admirer, I’m thrilled to share that the upcoming animated movie, running approximately 1 hour and 29 minutes, surpasses the length of its predecessor, Nightmare of The Witcher. In this new adaptation, Cockle steps into the role previously held by Henry Cavill as Geralt. Remarkably, Anya Chalotra and Joey Batey will rejoin the cast, reprising their roles as Yennefer and Jaskier respectively. Lastly, Essi Daven will be voiced by Christina Wren in this exciting production!

The movie was written by Mike Ostrowski and Rae Benjamin, and produced by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. Additionally, Mike Ostrowski, Tomek Bagiński, Jarosław Sawko, Jason F. Brown, and Sean Daniel act as executive producers. Rae Benjamin serves as the co-executive producer, while Sapkowski takes on a creative consultant role. Kang Hei Chul is responsible for directing this project.

Besides the upcoming animated movie, work on The Witcher Season 4 is ongoing, slated for release in 2025. Earlier this year, the Netflix series was granted a fifth and concluding season. Additionally, Sapkowski’s latest Witcher book is anticipated to hit shelves during Winter 2024-2025.
