U.S. fans of The Traitors will have to wait until 2026 for the next season, while viewers in other countries are already watching it in 2025. It’s a bit frustrating, especially after seeing a funny clip of a rogue fart momentarily breaking the tension on the show! I almost wish it had happened on the American version, but I’ll be happy when it finally arrives here.
I was watching the UK version of Celebrity Traitors recently, and something hilarious happened. It was Celia Imrie – you might know her from The Thursday Murder Club on Netflix – who was the one responsible! They were all getting ready for a challenge, trying to boost the prize money, and I guess the pressure got to her because she… well, let out a little fart! It was a genuinely funny moment.

It was admirable that she immediately admitted to accidentally farting on camera, and it probably saved a lot of trouble. The editors would have definitely tried to figure out who did it, and it could have become a bigger issue than it needed to be. She likely would have been discovered eventually, but thankfully, an investigation wasn’t necessary.

Okay, so I’m seeing a lot of buzz about NBC’s upcoming ‘Normie’ season of ‘The Traitors,’ and honestly, it’s making me a little anxious. As a huge fan of the celebrity version, I’m worried this new take might unintentionally diminish what I loved about the original. I really hope it doesn’t ruin the magic!
I really hope something like this happens on the American version of The Traitors – Alan Cumming would definitely have a clever, sarcastic comment about it. He’s been fantastic throughout the show, adding witty observations while also knowing when to let dramatic moments unfold naturally. He’s truly one of the best hosts I’ve seen on any reality competition show.
There will be two new seasons of The Traitors in 2026! One will feature celebrities, and the other will follow everyday people – both airing on NBC. I’m really excited to see how the two versions compare, and while funny moments are always welcome, I’m hoping the show will continue to develop and become even more interesting.
With so many established competition shows, it’s refreshing to see a newer series like this gaining attention. Whether you love it or hate it, I’m glad it’s making an impact on TV. I’m eagerly awaiting the next season of The Traitors and can’t wait for new episodes on Peacock – the wait feels endless!

I’m really loving Peacock TV! For just $7.99 a month, or $79.99 for the whole year, I can watch tons of amazing reality shows, especially all the latest from NBC and Bravo. They have different plans too – if I want to get rid of ads or download shows to watch without Wi-Fi, I can upgrade to Peacock Premium or Premium Plus. It’s a fantastic deal, and I highly recommend checking it out!
I’m enjoying rewatching past seasons of The Traitors on Peacock while we wait for the new episodes to come out. Plus, they have a great selection of horror movies, so it’s worth checking out Peacock for a movie and TV marathon!
