Being overjoyed and heartbroken at the same time last year when I learned that the Legend of Heroes: Trails series was getting its own card game, which was only releasing in Japan, now fills me with hope. Earlier today, it was announced on their official X account that TCG Co. will be localizing the game, Legend of Heroes: Trails TCG (Trading Card Game), for an international launch. First unveiled last November, the Trails Trading Card Game lets players create decks with characters from Falcom’s franchise and compete against each other. In addition to showcasing the first localized cards, ‘Joshua Bright’ and ‘Estelle Bright, Child of the Sun’, a detailed game rules explanation, as well as a Quick Rules guide, have been made available in English.
According to the game rules, extra cards featuring characters and settings beyond those found exclusively in the Liberal storyline, such as Crossbell, are also displayed.
These include:
- Estelle Bright [Junior Bracer]
- ENIGMA [Tactical Orbment]
- Izakaya Exchange
- Crossbell City Central Square [Link]
As an eager fan, I’m thrilled that an English demo deck has been confirmed, and I can hardly wait for further details to be unveiled. Here’s hoping the full release details or dates will be revealed soon!
