The Thaumaturge arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on December 4 & a demo is available now on them

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for alternate history RPGs and a soft spot for the supernatural, I can hardly contain my excitement as Fool’s Theory and 11 bit studios bring “The Thaumaturge” to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on December 4. Having dabbled in its PC version earlier this year, I can attest that it’s an RPG gem not to be missed.

11-bit Studios and Fool’s Theory have announced that their turn-based, alternate history RPG titled “The Thaumaturge” will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on December 4th. Previews of the game can already be played for free on both the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store.

Back in March, The Thaumaturge was released on PC, a game I found outstanding in my review. This role-playing game is set in 1905 Warsaw, and players take on the role of Wiktor Szulski throughout their journey. As the story unfolds, players will gradually obtain new spiritual entities known as Salutors, which have a demonic essence.

Develop additional skills for Wiktor and his team, the Salutors, to shift the advantage in their favor during the strategic, time-based combat system. Strive to reduce the harm inflicted on Wiktor as he investigates cases, ultimately revealing the facts behind his father’s demise.

A new trailer for The Thaumaturge’s console release is available down below.

In a city like 1905 Warsaw, no one knows the depths of human nature – its inner struggles and inherent flaws – better than Wiktor Szulski, an experienced psychic with a unique ability to sense subtle human emotions as he pursues folklore-inspired monsters on the streets. Get ready to experience his journey when #TheThaumaturge releases for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on December 4th.
