Last week’s big update for Arc Raiders added the Stella Montis map, and now Embark Studios has shared some player stats from the abandoned facility. It seems the ‘Shredder’ enemy is living up to its name, having eliminated over 2.2 million players!
Arc Raiders’ recent North Line update introduced several new features, including the Shredder and a massive new enemy called the Matriarch. While the Matriarch is a formidable foe, players have already dismantled over 26,000 of them. The Stella Montis area has been visited a remarkable 25 million times, but strangely, 117 players have managed to defeat themselves using volcanic rock – a phenomenon that’s even puzzled the developers at Embark.
Congratulations to all Raiders who successfully secured a spot on Stella Montis last week! 🏔️ The tunnels created by the Breaking New Ground project were challenging, and here’s a recap of what happened:

I was blown away by how quickly the Arc Raiders community unlocked Stella Montis! We all chipped in resources, and it happened way faster than the developers at Embark expected. One player, seriously, donated over 26,000 resources! It’s amazing to see how popular the game is getting – Steam hit over 480,000 players at its peak last week, and that’s just on one platform! You can also play on Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, which is awesome.
