The reality show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is back for a fourth season, and things are changing. The show, which airs on Hulu, has moved past initial discussions about Mormonism and lifestyle choices. Now, the wives are dealing with increased public attention. As cast member Mayci Neeley puts it, “Everything has just been blowing up.”
Taylor Frankie Paul is getting ready to be the next Bachelorette, and while preparing, she’s dating and intentionally ignoring her ex, Dakota Mortensen, who feels she’s trying to manipulate him. The other cast members, many of whom are still practicing Mormons, disapprove of her open dating life. Jessi Ngatikaura even jokingly wondered, while dressed as a Playboy Bunny, if Taylor will be pregnant during her season.
The other women in the show are also busy with their own projects. We’ll see Whitney Leavitt and Jennifer Affleck preparing for Dancing With the Stars, Mayci promoting her book, Told You So, and Layla Taylor continuing her modeling career. It’s a stressful time for everyone. At one point, Whitney Leavitt admits things aren’t going well, unaware that she’s about to land a role in the Broadway production of Chicago. The show continues to follow the lives of the Mormon Wives.
