As their sisterhood faces significant turmoil, faith, friendships, and reputations hang in the balance. Will the MomTok community manage to endure and continue defying conventions, or will this group face a fall from grace?
The preview for the reality show without a script came out in August. In this, the wives gave a peek into their rigid and limited lives and marriages. One participant explains, “We were brought up to be these housewives for the men, catering to their every whim,” and “I had children by the age of 21, or, in my case, 16.
The show plans to address this topic first, then move on to focusing on the women’s rise into prominence after their online ventures achieved unprecedented success, which was followed by a harsh controversy that almost caused chaos.
