With Chen preparing for her sergeant’s exam, their survival opens up new avenues for their relationship as Bradford is now no longer part of her command chain. As Bradford assists Chen in her studies, romantic sparks are sure to fly before the test.

After a Brief Scene Earlier This Season, Monica Stevens Is Sure to Return
Shawn Ashmore’s character transitioned into a prosecutor and found himself in conflict with his ex-lover Monica Stevens (Bridget Regan). The hint in the summary that Wesley encounters trouble with an influencer might be a clever setup by Stevens, who completely turned to the dark side at the end of Season 6. It’s almost certain that Stevens will reappear to cause more trouble for the cast before the season finale.
