The reunion is wrapping up, but things are tense after Britani left in tears. Meredith claimed Britani was antisemitic, but everyone’s confused because it seems Britani actually removed a review after learning about offensive comments made by a nail technician. Meredith still feels Britani acted inappropriately, and Andy pointed out that maybe Britani simply doesn’t like her – which is a valid point, since Meredith didn’t seem to care for Britani much either, even before this drama began. It’s good to see Andy being direct!
After a tearful moment backstage, Britani returned to the couch with a large, bright red travel mug of coffee—it was so noticeable, I couldn’t help but stare at it. She jumped into an argument already happening between Meredith and Mary, firmly stating, “I already apologized a lot… we resolved it a long time ago, and it’s over.” It became clear to Meredith that everyone, including Andy, didn’t support her position, so she dropped the issue.
After a lot of back and forth, Andy finally returned to the initial question – had Meredith been drinking before the flight? Meredith admitted to having one drink in the lounge. Everyone wondered if it was something stronger! She explained that she couldn’t remember the end of Crazy Rich Asians because she had fallen asleep. This moment is now becoming legendary in Bravo history, comparable to the infamous scene between Jax and Kristen on Vanderpump Rules during Drive. I’ll never be able to watch Crazy Rich Asians again without picturing Meredith trying to drink on a plane.
Lisa jumped in to support Meredith, explaining she understood what Meredith was feeling because she’d also been criticized by the group during the boat trip. Lisa and Heather then argued back and forth about it – honestly, it was hard to make out what either of them were saying. The editors showed them both on screen at the same time, which created a chaotic but strangely enjoyable mix of voices – the sound team really earned an award for that! It felt like listening to an improvisational jazz piece. Basically, the argument seemed to be that both Lisa and Meredith believe they haven’t done anything wrong and aren’t taking responsibility for it.
After covering everything, Andy quickly moves through some remaining topics. Whitney shares an update about her business not succeeding, Heather is enjoying having an empty nest, Britani reports things are getting better with her daughters, and Angie is gently encouraging Elektra to connect with her Greek heritage. Lisa is still hurt by a recent conversation with John, specifically that it happened on camera. She felt he embarrassed her by bringing up something sensitive, telling him, “I would never make you look bad, but you made me look horrible on things you know hurt me,” and that it “broke my heart.” I’m glad the reunion allowed them to address this, as they couldn’t have done so in the moment. Even if John was being honest, sharing that complaint publicly – especially on Lisa’s own show – felt like a betrayal.
Finally, the show focuses on Bronwyn and her difficult family life, revealing the abuse she’s endured all season from both her mother and husband. She’s clearly upset while watching these scenes. We also learn that Muzzy felt similarly uncomfortable reviewing her own footage. Bronwyn believes Muzzy feels she contributed to the backlash, and that much of her mother’s negativity stemmed from disagreements about Bronwyn’s beliefs and lifestyle. It seems her mother was determined to publicly express her disapproval of Bronwyn’s choices, even on television.
Things got uncomfortable when the conversation turned to Todd. Bronwyn hesitated about how to describe their relationship – as it was on the show, or how it is now. She eventually shared that they’ve separated. Andy then surprisingly asked, “His choice?” which seemed to imply he couldn’t believe Todd would end things. Bronwyn quickly clarified that she was the one who initiated the split, explaining that even a good situation can’t last forever if it’s not right. While she doesn’t believe the show caused their breakup, she feels it sped up the process of realizing their issues and she was exhausted from constantly managing his public image.
I heard Todd did something pretty wild after everything went down. Apparently, he re-watched the whole show from the very beginning, which is strange considering he even watched the seasons before he was on! I guess maybe seeing Jen Shah get arrested cheered him up a bit. But the craziest part? He then went and read every single comment people made about him online. Seriously, don’t do that to yourself! I can barely imagine him sitting through six seasons of Real Housewives in the first place, but actively seeking out what people said about him… that just seems like torture. And honestly, it feels like it’s too late for him to gain anything positive from re-watching it all anyway.
Surprisingly, Whitney’s reaction was the most touching part of Bronwyn’s separation announcement. It really hit home for her, as she sees parallels to her own marriage – she often feels like the one making mistakes, similar to how Todd felt in Bronwyn’s relationship. Seeing Bronwyn’s marriage potentially end feels like a warning for her own, and she gets overwhelmed with emotion, needing to find Justin for comfort. Backstage, Justin reassures her that their relationship is strong as she cries, and honestly, I’d be heartbroken if anything ever happened to them.
Meredith mentioned her Mother’s Day call (or lack of one) from Brooks, but revealed that wasn’t what really bothered her. She was actually upset with the show’s production team. Andy asked what happened, but Meredith didn’t want to discuss it. That’s when Whitney stepped in to defend production, explaining that Meredith had been blaming them for things all day. Whitney clearly wanted to show her support for the team, and likely secure her own place on the show next season. This situation highlights how much of what happens is unseen by viewers. We only see a small part of the full picture, and a lot goes on behind the scenes with the crew and other people involved. It’s probably not a good idea for Meredith to pick fights with the people who help make the show happen.
The most encouraging news comes from Lisa and Angie, who have been struggling with their issues all season, despite clearly caring for each other – or at least, that’s what they say. They’ve promised to start fresh and move forward, which is really what makes this show so compelling. As Heather aptly put it, this experience has brought both the best and worst moments of their lives, and it’s the genuine connection between them that keeps them together. They’ve been through a lot together, good and bad, and that makes their relationships feel incredibly real, whether they want it to or not.
