Soon, Pokémon fans will have the chance to meet a real-life Nurse Joy and see their Pokémon ‘healed’ right before them! It sounds unbelievable, but it’s true.
I’m so excited! PokePark Kanto is almost here, and people who got to go early are already sharing videos and pictures online. It looks amazing, and I can’t wait to check it out myself!
Based on early previews, the park will include a detailed forest area filled with more than 600 creatures throughout the landscape.
One detail that especially excited fans was the opportunity to visit a real Pokémon Center and have their Pokémon cared for by Nurse Joy.
First look inside PokePark Kanto’s Pokemon Center
A recent online video shows someone entering a Pokémon Center and being greeted by Nurse Joy and a cheerful Chansey statue.
In Pokémon Park Kantō, you’ll be helping out at the Pokémon Center! Your team this time includes Pikachu, Gengar, Gyarados, Naganadel, Lucario, and Dragonite… sounds familiar, doesn’t it? Plus, the Piplup you brought along has been healed!

Similar to the Pokémon games, this place lets visitors ‘heal’ their Pokémon. When you enter, you’ll be greeted by Nurse Joy, and a statue of her Chansey companion stands behind the counter.
The video offers a detailed look at how Pokémon healing actually works. Nurse Joy loads Poke Balls into a machine, and each one displays a different Pokémon on the screen as it’s placed. The process is enhanced with classic sounds and animations, just like in the games.
The post got a lot of reaction from fans, who flooded the comments section. Many shared how it reminded them of their own experiences playing the game.
One user jokingly asked if there was a big, easy-to-press button they could keep hitting, like in old video games, to bring back nostalgic memories.
According to the park’s website, this area includes Sledge Town, where you can find attractions like PokeMart for unique drinks and the Sedge Gym.
Okay, so get this – the new theme park is officially opening on February 5th, 2026! It’s actually inside Yomiuriland, which is an amusement park in the Inagi City area of Tokyo. I’ve already marked it on my map – can’t wait to check it out!
