As a seasoned gamer with a Nintendo Switch that’s seen more action than my cat sleeps, the Year-In-Review tool is like a trip down memory lane, albeit a pixelated one. It’s fascinating to see the stats on my gaming habits, from the hours spent in another dimension with Another Code: Recollection, to the countless times I nearly pulled a muscle doing the Paper Mario moon dance.

Nintendo’s 2024 Year-In-Review tool for the Switch console is now available, providing a breakdown of your gameplay hours throughout the year.

The review kicks off with the first game you played in 2024, followed by how many games you played, how many hours you spent on each, and the total number of hours played on Switch. The review will also tell your favorite genres and the total playtime for each month.

At last, the review concludes by inviting you to select your preferred game among those played this year. It’s uncertain if Nintendo will reveal the chosen games from the poll. Additionally, a complimentary printable 2025 calendar is offered upon completion of the review.

Reflect on the enjoyable moments you spent playing games with your Nintendo Switch last year! Share your playtime stats, top picks, and other highlights with your friends right away!

2024 saw PlayStation and Xbox unveil their annual recap platforms, so don’t forget to take a look at them! This year was relatively low-key for Nintendo, with the Switch primarily offering remasters like Another Code: Recollection and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. With the anticipated unveiling of the successor to the Nintendo Switch, and the highly anticipated releases of gaming heavyweights like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Pokemon Legends Z-A on the horizon, I can hardly contain my excitement!
