The most disgusting Smile 2 scene isn’t even a kill

As a seasoned gamer and horror movie enthusiast with a penchant for the macabre, I must say that Smile 2 has certainly lived up to its name. With my eyes glued to the screen throughout, I was left cringing, gasping, and even laughing at times – not because of any jokes in the film, but more so due to the sheer absurdity of some scenes.

In a new twist, Smile 2 surpasses the original Parker Finn horror movie masterpiece in size, quality, and graphic violence. Although it’s filled with chilling sequences worth analyzing, its most unsettling moment doesn’t stem from death or bloodshed.

From the outset, Smile 2 delivers a hard-hitting dose of violence. The Smile Curse targets numerous fresh victims throughout the film, particularly centering around the character of pop star Skye Riley, played by Naomi Scott.

Similar to how Rose dealt with her past horrors in the initial horror film, Skye is working diligently to heal from a devastating incident and maintain sobriety. She’s predominantly managing this process by consuming large quantities of Voss water during her preparation for her return tour.

Regrettably, her hard work is overshadowed when the malevolent spirit is bestowed upon her, causing her life to descend into a horrifying chaos. Before she fully comprehends the situation, a disturbing sequence of events unfolds between Skye and a supposed fan. Caution: spoiler alert!

Grossout Smile 2 scene doesn’t involve blood

During a lively fan gathering, I found myself reliving a chilling encounter that had taken an unexpected turn. Not too long ago, my dealer, Lewis, met a tragic end – he took his life in a gruesome manner, striking his own face repeatedly with a heavy barbell weight. This ruthless act unknowingly passed the “Smile Curse” onto me.

Initially appearing innocent, a man named Alfredo (Iván Carlo) approaches the table and requests Skye’s autograph on his t-shirt. At first, she seems apprehensive due to him having poor complexion and unkempt appearance, which led her to make quick judgments about him.

In the blink of an eye as we posed for a photo, Alfredo caught me off guard with his words. “I’ve got just the thing to lift your spirits,” he said, “We could be incredibly happy together.” He moved closer, his voice rising, “You’re simply stunning, and your skin…it’s radiant beyond belief.

Swiftly, Skye pushes him aside before security handles the situation and escorts him out. However, this isn’t the end of their encounter. In due course, Skye finds herself alone in her apartment when she hears one of her Voss water bottles break on the floor.

She goes to grab a broom from the cupboard, and when she returns to the kitchen area, Alfredo’s signed t-shirt is there on the counter. If that weren’t horrifying enough, she sees a trail of his clothes across the floor, eventually landing on his poop-stained underwear.

The scene is shocking and nauseating, made more so by the fact that viewers have no time to prepare. Immediately following a close-up of Alfredo’s stained underwear, Skye looks up to find him standing at the end of the hallway, grinning wickedly with no clothes on.

Following a nerve-wracking spell, he pursues her down the corridor, and she dashes towards the front entrance, only to discover upon opening the door that her steadfast best friend, Gemma, is waiting for her. In surprise, Skye glances back at her apartment, then comprehends it was merely a delusion.

As I ponder back on that event, it leaves me questioning: Was any part of it genuine? Was it truly Alfredo who attended the gathering, or was it merely a trick by some malevolent spirit?

By the conclusion of Movie 2 titled “Smile,” you’ll find that there are no straightforward explanations. However, let’s hope we can all concur on one point: The shocking scene where Alfredo inexplicably flashes his underwear is undoubtedly the most disgusting moment in “Smile 2” – and it was devoid of any blood.
