‘The Merry Gentlemen’ Trailer: Chad Michael Murray Goes ‘Magic Mike’ in Netflix Christmas Movie

As a seasoned cinephile who has navigated through countless holiday rom-coms, I must say that the trailer for “The Merry Gentlemen” has piqued my interest. The blend of small-town charm, creative performances, and a hint of romance is reminiscent of classic holiday films, yet with a fresh twist. The all-male Christmas revue sounds intriguing, and I’m eager to see how Britt Robertson and Chad Michael Murray bring their characters to life.

It’s time to make it reindeer.

In the Netflix holiday romantic comedy “The Merry Gentlemen,” Britt Robertson plays a previous dancer from the big city. To rescue her parents’ struggling small-town performance space, she comes up with a unique and sensual idea: an all-male Christmas-themed review.

In the initial preview, a heated dynamic unfolds between Robertson and Chad Michael Murray, as the latter removes his clothing. “We’re going to create something extraordinary,” she declares, “something this town has never experienced before.” Shirtless dancers execute intricate moves, such as body rolls, on stage.

I’m thrilled to share that alongside the talented Peter Sullivan as our director and Marla Sokoloff, who both contribute significantly with their writing skills, we have Beth Broderick, Michael Gross, Maxwell Caulfield, Hector David Jr., Colt Prattes, and Marc Anthony Samuel gracing the screen in this film. It’s a privilege to watch these stars bring their unique talents to life!

Jeffrey Schenck, Barry Barnholtz, Brian Nolan, and Sullivan are the producers of the upcoming steamy movie that will be released on November 20th.

Among the four romantic comedies centered around holidays that are premiering this season on the streaming platform, “The Merry Gentlemen” is one of them. Starting November 6, “Meet Me Next Christmas” tells the story of Christina Milian frantically searching New York City to secure tickets for the Pentatonix’s sold-out Christmas Eve concert. On the 13th of November, Lacey Chabert breathes life into a seductive snowman in “Hot Frosty”. Lastly, on November 27, Lindsay Lohan engages in a confrontation with Kristin Chenoweth in “Our Little Secret”.

Netflix’s schedule for the holiday season features a variety of exciting additions, such as NFL’s two key games on Christmas Day, the Christmas-themed action-thriller “Carry On” starring Taron Egerton, the animated movie “That Christmas,” the holiday mystery series “Black Doves” led by Keira Knightley, and Sabrina Carpenter’s special production titled “A Nonsense Christmas.
