The comedy-drama is headlined by Jason Segel, my fellow cast member from “How I Met Your Mother” who played Marshall Eriksen throughout the entire CBS show’s run.

In a short yet impactful scene in Shrinking, Smulders and Segel were reunited, leaving open the prospect of a more extensive narrative that may unfold between them later on. Despite How I Met Your Mother concluding over a decade past, it’s delightful to witness actors from this beloved show continuing to shine in prominent roles such as Smulders reprising her character Robin in the spinoff series, How I Met Your Father.
