Today, Nintendo rolled out several Switch 2 compatibility updates, and among them was Update 1.1.0 for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom which introduced an additional favorite echoes function that is active even when the game is played on a Nintendo Switch.
In less than two days, the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 is imminent, and Nintendo has begun releasing updates for games it published to incorporate various improvements tailored for the Nintendo Switch 2, as demonstrated with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in version 4.0.0. One significant upgrade in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is particularly noteworthy, as it addresses one issue I had with the game, which will be accessible once you’ve gathered 30 or more echoes. For Nintendo Switch 2 users, this update includes HDR support, enhanced visuals, and additional features.

- Added a feature to display only favorited echoes in the list of echoes after 30 or more echoes have been learned.
- Visuals: Optimized for the Nintendo Switch 2 display and high-resolution TVs for improved image quality.
- HDR (High Dynamic Range) support for improved image contrast and brightness.
Note: HDR-compatible display required when playing in TV mode.
- Fixed various issues to create a smoother gaming experience.
